One of the main problems I get called in to deal with is excessive barking. Barking is a very natural behaviour (more some in some breeds than others!) but when left un-checked, can become problematic. In such cases, I will arrange a in-home behavioural consultation to discuss the problem and identify what is causing the excessive barking. Living with a dog that has learnt to bark habitually, demand bark or alert bark too much can be a big stress for the whole family. Together we will work together to find the cause of this unwanted barking and address this with scientifically proven techniques. I will teach you how to correct your dogs behaviour, effectively strengthening the bond between you both.
In each session I tailor my methods to each situation individually as experience has taught me that every dog and owner is different. Ultimately we will communicate in a way the dog understands that this is unwanted behaviour and put an end to excessive barking.
