Properly training a dog to walk to heel is one of the most overlooked fundamentals. The walk, meant to be a pleasant activity shared between owner and pet, can rapidly turn into a war. In such cases I love to show owners just how fun it can be to train their pet to walk to heel, using positive reinforcement and corrections where necessary. Through a basic series of training exercises, we will have your dog happily walking alongside you with no tension in the lead, making walks more enjoyable for both owner and animal.
